Looks really good except the sugar, going to have to try it vs buying Trader Joe’s

I would use mild cheddar or maybe Colby since American "cheese" isn't real cheese. It's made with vegetable oil.

Didn’t know that about American, but I would use mild cheddar for the taste..

I agree with you about the cheese & that’s why I’m planning on getting some new school American cheese to make it with. Chef Eric Greenspan partnered up and are producing a real American cheese that almost reminds me of government cheese the base handed out in the 80’s 
Only downside is I’ve got to order it from Kalif and have to play the weight game to get best shipping rate…

I got a brick of that guvmint cheese back in the 80s once. Best damn cheese I ever ate!
