Today's range trip was a bust. Since I have 300 or so sierra 135gr varminters I loaded 50 of them, 30 with 110 and 20 with 4227. It seems my ar doesn't like the nose profile, they wouldn't feed. One went into battery on the second attempt but I ejected it and it'd shortened by about .20. Good thing I didn't pull the trigger.

I guess you've checked your mag follower to be sure it's not sticking with the nose low.
Looks like the 556 mags are the problem, tried pmag 300 ones and they feed nicely.

They are fun with a can, they are downright giggle inducing with a can and giggle switch. They do make a gun dirty. Back pressure pushes the gasses back into the action a lot more than without.
The 135gr sierra varminters fed flawlessly and I was getting 2.5 to 3moa, not bad for a 2moa red dot.
Sighted in the green laser on the g17, that's like cheating, it's so easy to hit with. A very satisfying day!
