Supreme Court rules bump stock ban unconstitutional.

How many people who had them actually got rid of them? I'm betting that it worked about the same as with braces, and that the number was incredibly low compared to how many were sold.
........

What the hell difference does that make? If even just 1 person had his rights infringed, and had his property confiscated and took the financial hit it was wrong regardless of whether it was done by someone you like.

I'm sure that's a real comfort to all those former owners who had to get rid of the property they paid for with no compensation. I  sure hope Trump doesn't "play the long game" with any more of my rights next time.

So you would rather democrats banned bump stocks by passing a law instead of what Trump did to save them in the long run ........

How would that have been different? Owners would have to give them up and file lawsuits which take years to get to SCOTUS to get the same ruling they just did.
Please explain to me the difference other than it was an R that did it instead of a D.

After the Vegas shooting both democrats and republicans were looking for a scapegoat 

Trump knew what he did would not stand up to the court and if he did nothing democrats & republicans would pass a law legally banning them & possibly more 

So he did what he did knowing that in the long run it would be overturned in court and them along comes Biden who did the same thing with pisto braces cuz Trump did……….

I confess not knowing exactly what to do with my pistol braces. Keep them? (Spent too much on them to destroy them.) Box them up and let a ‘non gun’ friend store them? Seal in PVC and bury?

As it turns out, being a member of FPC, I didn’t have to wait long and I never had to decide. Both my pistols- 350 L and 450 B -have filled deer tags, the 450 out to 100 yards, and that wouldn’t have happened without braces on them (my son might still have gotten one of his at 25 yds with the 350L sans a brace). I have a TailHook brace on both and they’re perfect for hunting- they deploy quickly and silently, no Velcro, no awkward flaps around your arm.
