It’s got less felt recoil than my Cylinder & Slide lightweight government model 1911

Problem I’ve ran into is magazines that sit flush are a real pain in the ass for me to remove, extended mags solve that

Recoil management issue a issue for me now also & the 9mm is much lighter recoiling for me

If I was to get any 45 now…..the Glock would be high on the list unless Staccato comes out with a 45 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do the empty mags not eject when the button is pushed?

Terry

not to the point of falling free, have to grasp and pull & my left hand strength & dexterity suck

At 31 over here I have a feeling most of you guys are approaching twice my age. I didn’t start carrying full time until I was about 23, but growing up in Alaska I packed a lot of the time. I started with a security 6 when I was about 13 and then moved to a vaquero 44 mag at 16. Once we left Alaska I didn’t get another handgun and start carrying until my Ruger LWC 45 acp and that has been my primary carry ever since, but I have got through 6 month or so spirts of carrying something else, but I’ve always gone back to the Ruger. My current carry is the Yukon 10mm

Actually, I'm approaching 3 times your age, but I'm still kicking.

I'm 68, look 78 and feel 98.

I made my decision and ordered it today:

I should have it in my hot little hands by the weekend. The FFL it’s going to is about an 8 minute drive from my house. Almost literally right around the corner. Now I have to go holster shopping. I already have a set of XS Big Dot tritium sights in my parts closet. I’ll post photos when it it gets here,\.

Well, since Noneya isn't with us anymore I'm gonna have to take up his slack. Everyone is getting a new gun except me!
