What's for supper!

I have some hamburger thawing for a hobo stew tonight. Browned bgr, cream of mushroom soup and frozen veg-all with Worcestershire sauce/salt and pepper poured over mashed potatos.
1/2# of bgr will make enough for 3 meals so I guess the other half will be breakfast hamburger steak and eggs.
For the heck of it I looked up recipes for hobo stew. Boy they run the gamut! Maybe my version is more of a shepherds pie.

Had it in my freezer for a while and figured it was time to eat it.

Went out for supper, Creamy Beef Stroganoff, Southern Green Beans with Bacon, Dinner Rolls and Salted Caramel Brownies

Food was blah & wife got sick, normally it’s tasty so who knows what happened

Had a couple pour of 12 year Jack Daniel’s that’s an allocation and it was very tasty

Tonight’s Factor meal:

Baja Salmon with cauliflower Rice, Broccoli & Jalapeno Lime Crema.

The salmon was tender and moist. The broccoli was good (I added butter) but not enough of it. The “rice” was okay. The Jalapeno lime sauce was almost tasteless. I marked this one a NO!

Tonight’s Factor meal:

Green Chili Queso & Chicken Thigh Pasta with Salt & Pepper Roasted Broccoli.

The thigh meat was tender, juicy & lightly spicy. The broccoli was tender and tasty with butter.

This is not one of their keto meals but had only 27 net carbs which is a lot less than most of the takeout meals I was eating before I started this. I needed a break from the same keto meal options every week. This worked. marked it YES OCCASIONALLY!

Tonight’s Factor meal:

Indian Style Butter Chicken with Cauliflower rice & Tikka Masala Green Beans, Mushroom & Cauliflower.

The chicken breast was dry and somewhat bland. Whatever Indian flavor they used was all in the “rice.” The veggies were well cooked and tasty (I added butter). I marked this one NO. It wasn’t terrible, just not my cup of tea.

Tonight’s Factor meal:

Peruvian Style Chicken with Red Pepper Cauliflower Grits & Broccoli:

The chicken breast was mre tender and nit as dry as most of the others. The flavor was decent. Didn’t taste much red pepper in the “grits”. My biggest complaint is that the side consisted of exactly 3 pieces of broccoli. I marked this one a MAYBE!
