blue ring

Anyone know what the blue ring around the avatar signifies? Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't.

I don’t have a blue ring. I’ve heard it’s bad. When were you last at the range? Maybe that’s why.

Is it similar to a bathtub ring? Try using the shower.

I'm not really sure...at first, I thought it was just color matching with the username but maybe it is what ever color the default avatar is if you didn't have an image uploaded? I'll have to investigate a little further.
