64 and overcast at my house. My yard guy is supposed to come today so I hope it doesn't rain. Gotta take our cat Pumpkinhead to the vet today to find out what's wrong with her. She's 14 months old but the same weight and size she was at around 6 months:

She's literally skin and bones. We let her eat more than the others but it doesn't seem to make any difference. She acts (and looks) like she's starving. Her fur is rougher and thinner than the others and now she seems to be losing some of it. She's crazy for cream. She latched onto me because she knows I'm the keeper of the cream. She know what the cream container looks like and where it's kept. She can be in the bedroom at the opposite end of the house when I open the fridge door to get the cream out for my coffee and by the time I turn around she's right there giving me the most pitiful look and meow you ever heard. I really hope the vet can fix her because she's one of my favorites! Speaking of fixing, we not had her spayed because she's too small and shown no signs of going in heat.

Only got down into the mid 60s last night, up to 70° already, on it's way up to 80°F and sunny.

I managed to get about 85% of the saw work done on the cedars yesterday, and today all I'm going to do is drag the brush out back with the quad. I figure 6 or 7 trips ought to do it. Between rain and other stuff I've got going this week it'll probably be Thursday before I finish the last of the project. As long as it's done before next Monday I'm good, because that's when the roofers are coming to do a complete tear-off and re-roof the house.

Tape worms?

She's been indoors since she was born so not sure how she would get one but we'll find out today I hope.

If she's never been wormed, then that's what it likely is. They get them as kittens from their mothers.
And milk/dairy is one of the things that worms really thrive on.

Good Morning AlphaRomeo!
It's 61° and misting here this morning. Supposed to be off and on rain all day, topping out around 70°.

Yesterday we hit 84°, and I felt it getting my brush cleaned up. I made eight trips out back with the quad dragging piles chained to the hitch. I figure it was easily a ton, literally.
Today all I'm doing is going to see my chiropractor.
66 And overcast at my house. Supposed to be 70% chance of rain today and tomorrow. Waiting for the Vet to call with the results of Pumpkinhead's blood work. Vet say there might not be anything wrong and that some cats are just like that. I'm finding that hard to swallow.

I got the lab results for Pumpkinhead. A couple of the marker levels for her liver and kidneys are high. The Vet is scheduling us for a consult with a specialist. We’ll know more after that. This is not the kind of news I was hoping to hear.
