[FPC News] FPC Statement on U.S. Supreme Court Decision
<p><strong>WASHINGTON, D.C. </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">(March 26, 2025) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court decision upholding the ATF’s “frame or receiver” rule:</span></p>
Apparently the SCOTUS has ruled something on the ATF’s “Frame or Receiver Rule”. They upheld it? Tell me like I’m a Kindergartener: What is the ATF Frame or Receiver Rule? If I had an 80% lower, how would it affect me?
I don’t know why people say SCOTUS is a “conservative” or “constitutional” court. It seems to me they’re centrist, maybe slightly left. At least RBG admitted she made rulings based upon her political/personal ideology more than strict constitutionality. The current justices are just as bad, but dishonest, allowing their preferences to color their rulings. Chief Justice Roberts and his “settled law” argument… what a rascal!
