Outdoor environments, such as backyards, patios, or gardens, can be a relaxing escape from regular life. With the right resources and design ideas, you can easily change your outdoor area into something gorgeous and functional.
One way to upgrade an outdoor space is by utilizing natural elements like stone, wood, or trees. Building stone pathways or a wooden deck can bring structure while still complementing the surroundings. You can also add different types of plants to contribute life and texture, turning your yard into a lush, green retreat.
Another idea is to set up designated areas for specific activities. For one idea, a cozy seating area with outdoor furniture and lamps can make the perfect spot to unwind with friends or family. Consider using weather-resistant materials to maintain your seating area looking nice throughout the seasons. Building a fire pit or a small water feature, like a fountain, can also improve the vibe.
If you want your outdoor space to grab attention, consider incorporating DIY projects. Making your own planters, garden beds, or even creating a pergola can add your space a personal touch. These projects can be made using basic materials like recycled wood or stone, making them both economical and rewarding.
With a bit of creativity and the right elements, your outdoor space can become an beautiful extension of your home, perfect for chilling or throwing parties.

[FPC News] FPC Statement on U.S. Supreme Court Decision

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 26, 2025) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court decision upholding the ATF’s “frame or receiver” rule:

Apparently the SCOTUS has ruled something on the ATF’s “Frame or Receiver Rule”. They upheld it? Tell me like I’m a Kindergartener: What is the ATF Frame or Receiver Rule? If I had an 80% lower, how would it affect me?
I don’t know why people say SCOTUS is a “conservative” or “constitutional” court. It seems to me they’re centrist, maybe slightly left. At least RBG admitted she made rulings based upon her political/personal ideology more than strict constitutionality. The current justices are just as bad, but dishonest, allowing their preferences to color their rulings. Chief Justice Roberts and his “settled law” argument… what a rascal!
