In this video from 1995, Bill Clinton looks like a right-winger by today's standards. The Overton window has moved substantialy! It really would make a great campaign ad for Trump with very little commentary added. https://twitter.com/CitizenFreePres/stat...3779643479
This is from the NY times. It pushes my thoughts several directions so I'll try to organize them as best as i can.
First, it seems to justify Russia's concerns about Ukraine becoming a fob for western aggression. Who would be ok with that on our borders? I understand that we need to develop assets against adversaries like Russia, but I don't think the color revolutions/Arab spring were truly in our best interests. I'm very suspicious of folks like Victoria Nuland and their efforts.
Second, it briefly mentions Ukraine Intel providing info on Russian interference in the 2016 elections. To me, that is laughable. The ridiculous Steele dossier was paid for by HRC's campaign and the Russian's contributed heavily to the Clinton foundation. To play devil's advocate, Trump wasn't a big supporter of Ukraine, but I don't think the Russians would've known that in advance. The Biden/burisma mess (not mentioned in the article) ads to my thoughts that there was more personal enrichment than national security interests involved here.
Im not a fan of Russia or Ukraine, although I was initially sympathetic of Ukraine's struggle against the Russians. Maybe Russia would advance beyond Ukraine to other Soviet era territories, but I don't know, that's way beyond my limited knowledge.
Anyway, here's the link. It's a long article, but worth your time, in my humble opinion.
I like cabbage rolls, but don't like boiling the cabbage, letting it cool, and then rolling them up. A few months ago I tried a recipe for un stuffed rolls but didn't like it.
Today I tried a different recipe and it came out excellent! I discovered I was out of bay leaves, so I didn't use that. Other than that and some estimated measurements, I followed this recipe.
