Took the wife's new Python out for its maiden trip. Nice gun. Handles the heavies just fine with no bite . 2400 powder makes for a fire show though.....Next trip out I will set up targets and put it on paper as we just shot to shoot today. I function tested her little 410 single shot and I fixed an issue that I had caused by lubing the barrel catch...big no-no as recoil would open the action.
Bottom Line: Winterhaven: Nutmeg & Rum on the nose. Lightly spicy & sweet followed by rum. Tastes like a cream liqueur rather than eggnog. 3 Thumbs up!
Taste The Season: Smells like cream and nothing else. Light nutmeg and alcohol up front. Very little sweetness and bitterness at the end. 2 Neutral thumbs!
Bottom line: Smells like a standard red wine. Tastes like a standard red wine. No spice at all. John got a hint of apple and I got a hint of oak. Just a run of the mill dry red wine. Very disappointing. 2 Neutral thumbs!
Bottom line: Citrus hops on the nose. Citrus flavor up front, little to no malt with bitterness at the end. Tastes like a pale ale. 2 Thumbs up and 2 thumbs down!
