[FPC News] Federal Judge Blocks California Ban on Non-Resident Carry Licenses – Ma
<p><strong>SAN DIEGO</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> (August 21, 2025) – Today, Federal District Court Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo issued a </span><a href="https://assets.nationbuilder.com/firearmspolicycoalition/pages/7030/attachments/original/1755815625/2025.08.21_027_Permanent_Injunction.pdf?1755815625"><span style="font-weight: 400;">permanent injunction</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> siding with FPC and blocking enforcement of California laws preventing FPC’s members who reside outside of California from acquiring a carry license (commonly called a “Carry Concealed Weapons” license, or “CCW”). The injunction follows the Court’s July </span><a href="https://www.firearmspolicy.org/federal-judge-rules-californias-non-resident-carry-ban-unconstitutional-in-summary-judgment-order"><span style="font-weight: 400;">decision</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> that the law was unconstitutional under the Second Amendment.</span></p>
Hey folks! I just stumbled upon this forum. I used to be a member of the AR15Armory forum (username Blacktree). But I haven't been there in a long time. When I tried to visit, I noticed the website was gone. So down the google rabbit hole I went!
The crazy thing is, searching for AR15 Armory on google didn't turn up anything. No outdated links, no empty domain name, etc. It just turned up other forums. Then I checked the Wayback Machine, and saw the forum went away sometime in 2023. So I asked google "what happened to the AR15 Armory", and the Fakebook page turned up. Thankfully I have a Fakebook account. So I was able to drop in and see the new forum link.
Looks like the forum went through some hard times, then got dumped by the ISP. Or at least, that's what the google AI thingy said. Sorry to hear that.
Anyway, I see some familiar names here. That's pretty cool.
I bought this new a couple of years ago. I intended to build a dedicated lower for it and get a can, Due to circumstances, some of which y’all know, I no longer have the time nor the money. This has been sitting in my safe since I bought it.
