RE: I'm not 20 anymore. - olfart - 01-02-2025 Yep! I was reminded of my age today when I went to get on the roof to patch a leak. Just a few years ago I wouldn't bother with a ladder, just shinny up the antenna tower at the end of the house. Today I was exhausted before I got to the roof. Got down and went after a ladder and was worn out again by the time I got it up to the roof. Then climbed it and walked to the peak of the roof, where it felt like the house was shaking under my feet. Nope, just my legs. That's when I discovered my liquid patching material had dried up. Don't know how that happened. I just used it about 10 years ago. Then it took me another 10 minutes to work up the nerve to get on the ladder to go back down. Getting old ain't for sissies! At 29, the lad’s as strong as an ox, a good husband, a good father, a good son and brother. He makes his Mom and Dad very proud. And, yes, don’t mess with the people he loves… RE: I'm not 20 anymore. - srjdsmith - 01-03-2025 (01-02-2025, 04:47 PM)tommag Wrote:(01-02-2025, 04:04 PM)specops56 Wrote:He sounds like a healthy corn fed Iowa boy!(01-02-2025, 12:39 PM)srjdsmith Wrote: I bought a lathe- 465 lbs with the crate, 370 lbs net just the tool.
