Good morning! 28 and fog here. My state lets us track our ballots and I just looked mine up. Received and accepted, YAY!
I'm a political junkie so I won't get much sleep next Tuesday, refresh, refresh, refresh. My vote for president has no impact here, but since so many voters don't vote the down ballot, it'll count for something down ballot.
I'm cynical about the process as I'm sure many of you are but I refuse to surrender so the least I can do is vote. If any of you have reached the "what's the use?" stage I hope you rethink that.

We voted last week to avoid any possibility of ballot shortages, long lines, protests, etc. I used to stay up to see election coverage, but that was back when hand counts were completed within hours after the election. Now staying up to see the results is likely to take days or weeks instead of hours. A friend of mine told me 20 years ago that if we ever let computers take over ballot counting, we would never have another fair election. I see he was correct.

I’ve been in the “why bother to vote” category for a looooooong time. Without question here Trump will win by a landslide but we are a extremely small state (population wise) so nobody cares about our 3 electoral college votes
only reason to vote is for local elections & even then one vote does not matter (I’m super cynical & jaded)
since the wife is a naturalized citizen she is firmly in the you will vote and drags me along
might vote early or might go in on Election Day, still have not decided
snowed yesterday….and I feel it in my bones

Wa is a solid blue state so for Trump to win here we'd be able to ice-skate on the river Styx but I still vote.

I agree with you but I vote fiscally conservative & we have so many RINO’s that they elected a blue mayor a blue county commission and every tax increase that’s ever come up
only thing voted down was a 30 million rec center the city would run & it’s been up for vote at least 4 different elections and always voted down
I always look at my county and numbers cast on each item & not once has my vote been even close to mattering

You may not think your vote counts in a presidential election, but just wait until the Dems ditch the Electoral College and go to popular vote. That day is coming unless we stop it in this election. You can bet they'll be screaming "Kamala won the popular vote!" this time, as a reason to not certify the results. So yeah, EVERY vote counts.

With the Dems screaming about the electoral college it would take the wind out of their sails if we won the popular vote as well as the electoral college.
