Said what the hell & ordered a box, it’s not bad the first shipment but then it gets more expensive

Not shipping till the 11th and you can’t change anything after the 5th

And conveniently they are out of the “freebies” that you get with the order

Well after 20-25 min chatting with factors customer service & asking for a supervisor

They have horrible customer service, almost can’t type in English (on line chat)

I asked about the 2 “free” add ons that were all sold out when I joined as a new member & was unable to receive as promised

Kept being told you have 5 weeks to add them, should have done it earlier

Asked how I could have added them earlier when I just joined and they were sold out

Around and around, supervisor came on line and said the same thing

I know they were trying to get me to shut up and color but by now it’s a matter of principle

Another 5 min of so you want to cancel but it’s to late to cancel so I had to ask who said I wanted to cancel

Another cut and paste response and no higher supervisor exists

Here let me do your job for you, I’m sorry sir, I will make a note you get 4 free items next box since they were all sold out when you joined…….

They can’t do that…….

Ended up with $50 credit…..but can’t be combined with the discount plan I’m on…so have to wait…….

Fuck me running

That does indeed suck! Good thing I wasn't planning to use them for more than a couple of months. I just wanted a jump start.

Tonight’s Factor supper:

Herb Crusted Chicken with mashed cauliflower and toasted almond green beans.

The chicken had no “herb crust” and was dry. The cauliflower mash and green beans were good.

I marked this one as a NO.

That meal photo isn't even close to "keto". Typically, the portions ratio for keto are 70-75% fat, 20% protein, and 5-10% carbohydrates. People who don't know any better believe protein is the primary in a keto nutrition plan where in reality, it's the fat.

I am aware of that. I'm not trying to do hardcore strict keto. My goal is to lower my carb intake in order to get my blood glucose under better control and lose some fat in the process. I don't care what they call it as long as the carb count falls within my goal. Factor is just a way to get me started.

My "diabetes" was not caused by my diet. It's a side effect of the 2 immune suppressant meds I take for my kidney transplant. I never had high BG before the transplant in 2003. It started in 2004.

Another Factor supper:

Bacon & Onion pork tenderloin with swiss cauliflower mash & creamy mushroom green beans.

The pork was reasonably tender and moist and the green beans were tasty. I didn’t taste any bacon anywhere in this meal and just a little onion.

I marked this one MAYBE. My second order is on the way. I chose a few I haven’t tried yet.

A local guy on the radio mentioned borscht the other night. Dang, I haven't made that in 30 years! So I went to the store and picked up a couple of beets. I grated them along with carrots and chopped some onions. Cooked 1/2 lb of hamburger and threw that in as well as some shredded cabbage and a potato.
Anyway, it's now ready except for the sour cream which I'll add at serving time. Of course, I had to taste it and yep, that'll be good!

Tonight’s Factor meal:

Blackened Salmon with smoked gouda cauliflower grits and broccoli

The salmon was tender, moist and flavorful (some Franks Red Hot Sweet Chili sauce didn’t hurt).
The “grits were tasty and the broccoli perfectly cooked. I marked this one a YES.
