I made the big switch from Android to iPhone last winter and it had a learning curve, but I have zero desire to jump back to Android after getting used to things. I didn't go for the then-top tier iPhone 14, I went older with a 13, and decided to give small screens a try (having been primarily a Galaxy Note user since the infamous Note 7) - I really dig having a more pocketable phone again. It was one baby step toward simplifying things. I have a long way to go but the only complaint I have at all about the iPhone 13 Mini is the camera sucks. Digital zoom is limited to 5X on the rear (main) camera, and no zoom on the front (selfie) camera. But easing into iCloud service has been painless, and I've found myself using image hosting sites a lot less as backups, because of the automatic synch.
I'm sure they'll be on the 16 or 17 (or ditch the progressive numbering systems and go with some marketing gimmicy name like "X" or "I" or "Infinite" or some other bullshat) by the time I'm ready to ditch the 13.
