Western (French) dressing on cottage cheese

That sounds like a strange combination.

don’t know if it’s a Iowa thing or just what my parents did growing up (father owned a dairy processing milk with his 2 brothers, (and his uncle had a dairy farm) so we had tons of cottage cheese) but it was either the western dressing or opening a can of fruit cocktail and dumping some of that & I never liked it that way
