Luckily I discovered this when I still have water to the kitchen and filled my 3 jugs for the toilet before I lose it  all. I also put the required amount  in the crockpot for the split pea soup I'm planning to make as well as a  glass of water to brush my teeth.  It'll thaw out in a day or so and I'll be back up to normal soon.

Pipes won’t break??

last I looked it was -3 here, light wind and some snow overnight
No, I have a heated hose to the trailer and it's all pex from there. Pex supposedly will expand to 3x before breaking.

But your ABS drain pipes won't expand. Learned that one the hard way.

25° here and a foot of snow. The chickens are hating it. We’re babysitting because my son and daughter-in-law are snowshoeing.

64 degrees, pounding rain and dark as Nancy Pelosi’s soul at my house! Today I get to find out just how bad my roof is.

-6 with 4-5” of snow, took wife to work & now making mushroom coffee, I’m freezing
43 Degrees at my house which is as high as it's supposed to get today. I'm heading across town for my Dermatology appointment at noon to get sliced and diced. Haven't been in over a year. Supposed to start raining with wintery mix at, you guessed it, noon!

37 Degrees and raining at my house now. I just got back from Dermatology. Got sliced 2 places on the neck, the top of each ear and 2 places on my right arm. Gonna be fun trying to sleep tonight.

I had to scrape snow and ice off my windshield this morning to bring my wife home from the hospital. She had two stents put in yesterday and had to stay overnight for observation. Most miserable night I've spent in a while with nurses running in and out every hour, beeping machines, tests being run, etc., and my wife enjoyed it even less than I did. She spent 24 hours on her back on a gurney in recovery because there was no room in ICU. At least I could get up and move around before returning to my chair.

Glad to see your young bride was able to go home with ya, that’s where the real healing happens
