Or, at least, that’s what Dad always used to say. He always said, “Filleting fish, cleaning game, butchering, carving a roast or turkey… you keep your knife hand clean and dry. Your left hand will get messy, your knife hand STAYS CLEAN.”
“…unless you’re field dressing, then you get in there and get it done. Wash your hands in the snow afterwards, but get it done, Open up the carcass and get the meat cooling. Field dressing’s different.”
My heater is in the process of crapping out. The aux heat keeps coming on constantly. I didn't notice till I just got my latest electric bill. It's triple what it normally is. I put in the service request with American Home Shield yesterday. If I'm lucky the hvac people will call me tomorrow. When they will actually show up to fix it is a crap shoot. This system is the one they put in when they built the house in 2003. The coils in the attic unit are solid rust. They will either have to completely rebuild it or install a new unit. I'll update later. I'm freezing. I do have backup heat both electric and propane plus the fireplace.
What a monster! Based on S&W .500 round, modified for semi-auto use, this thing can cure almost any animal-related problem. Should be just the thing for hunting in Alaska.
Ok, I’m in list, PSA has a line of weapons by Harrington & Richardson that are retro XM177’s and GAU’s
Had no idea H&R even existed anymore only to find out they make historical clones
Want one of these critters sooooooo bad, they were really fun to shoot full auto 😛😛 and if you removed the moderator, the fireball & noise was earth shattering 🤪🤪
I got a text from Tom this morning. He went into the hospital on Monday for some test and they did not like what they see, so he is still in the hospital with surgery scheduled for Friday.
He has his phone with him but no charger so limited access to communications at the moment. I can relay messages to him over text.
